Ante-Post betting is not for the faint hearted. Most of you will know that you not only risk seeing your horse beaten, you risk it not turning up at all - and still losing your stake. It is the ultimate gamble.
Ante-post rules mean that you take the price on offer now, but will not be refunded if your horse is not in the final declarations for the race. A trainer or owner may withdraw the horse for any one of several reasons. The horse might be ill, lame, booked to race elsewhere or connections decide their runner will . . .
