14th March 2017
Well that was a strange day. A very long time since I fired blanks on one day at the Cheltenham Festival.
A hard luck story or two for sure. Charbel falling two from home when in front of Altior. Ballyandy meeting more traffic than most BMW drivers do on the M25.
Apple's Jade doing what she loves to do to me. That is winning when I don't back her, and coming second when my money is down on her. She beat off both Vroum Vroum Mag and Limini to ensure trainer Gordon Elliott had a very good day . . .

I shall have selections for each day of the meeting, beginning on Wednesday.
