Racing. Derby Preview and Tips
16 horses are due to to go post for the Derby at 4.55pm on Saturday 4th of July. Gone are those glorious days when the race took place on the first Wednesday of the month. Being a traditionalist, I would still rather the Derby was midweek.
But here we are. The 4th of July is independence day in the USA and has been deliberately chosen as the day the pubs of England will open once more. Imagine how drunk some people will be by the time this race goes off. They will be in the boozers, placing bets via . . .
