One week to go until the Cheltenham Festival of 2020. The roar will reverberate around Prestbury Park, Cheltenham. You can hear the roar back in town and further afield. The hairs on the back of the neck of those attending will stand to attention.
It's a great setting for the best race meeting to be seen anywhere in the world. Just so long as the coronavirus does not lead to the government calling off sporting events, the crowds will flock to Cheltenham for four days of top class National Hunt racing.

The Dublin Racing Festival, along with recent racing at Newbury, offered us punters plenty to think about when it comes to which horses we will all back at the Cheltenham Festival.
Opinions are divided in some quarters when it comes to certain races. Are the Irish horses better than the English, or the other way around?
It is possible to over analyse recent racing form. Some horses that did not deliver what was expected earlier this month will surely come on for that and improve at Cheltenham. Others may have won well but what did they beat? They'll face . . .

Indeed the last few years have gone well. A greater number of winners, albeit no 40/1 winner since Une Artiste in 2012. But then we have since enjoyed 40/1 and 50/1 winners of the Grand National.Not long now until a roar signifies the beginning of the 2020 . . .
