Cheltenham Festival Preview. Stayers Hurdle
Two weeks today the roar will go up and the Cheltenham Festival of 2017 will begin. Yes, I am excited. Bring it on. There's more than enough low grade racing these days, so the better meetings must be savoured.
I'm already on weather watch. Daft, I know, this far ahead of time. But worth having half an eye on. The weather people say there is to be significant rainfall around Cheltenham in the coming days. How much falls we cannot know.
And that matters. Not least to the horse I have placed an each way ante-post bet . . .

Cheltenham Festival Preview. Triumph Hurdle.
Sometimes it's the form of a horse that attracts a punter to them. Sometimes it's how they look. Or the promise they show at a young age. It's when all three align that I sit up and take note.
Members of my selection service first won backing Master Blueyes when I tipped the gelding each way at odds of around 10/1. That was when Dougie Costello rode him on the flat at York. Master Blueyes won that day in May 2016.
The 4 year grey has gone on to establish himself as a serious prospect over . . .
