The year was 2013 and Champagne Fever was an 8/1 winning tip from me to members of VG Tips.
Day one of the Cheltenham Festival that year got off to a winning start for members as my selection Champagne Fever saw off a challenge from the favourite My Tent or Yours to win the Grade 1 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle.
Ruby Walsh drove the first of his three winners on the Tuesday to victory for trainer Willie Mullins. I had a good feeling about this one for some time and expressed that to members the night before racing.
Here we are, six years later, and I am still doing just that. Spending every day researching and analysing form, writing up my analysis for race meetings all year long, including the ever popular Cheltenham Festival.
