Two winners and two placed each way selections on day one. Two winners and three each way profitable punts on day two. Not bad. Not brilliant (at least not when compared to last year. Must do better. But there are three days left of Royal Ascot and plenty more competitive racing to sink our teeth into.
The high draw is definitely proving beneficial in the handicaps, as expected. Some horses racing for the first time this season because of the sport being suspended since March have been ring rusty, as expected. They would have had a run in March, April . . .
