Don't you just love it when serious rainfall alters the going at a racecourse on the day of racing?
NO! Neither do I.
The weather is sometimes the most dangerous opponent and there can be no doubt that some horses set to enjoy racing at Cheltenham on Saturday, hated it once the ground turned soft.
Paul Nicholls rightly withdrew one of my naps before the race once it became clear the going was too soft. But others were left to race on ground that was not suitable on the day.
We did have two winners at shortish prices. Batazar . . .
