The weather played havoc with the racing on Saturday. Fog descended at both Ascot and Haydock.
The meeting at Haydock was abandoned after a race that couldn't be seen by anyone watching. Farcical.
We had winners with Unowwhatimeanharry (6/4 when selected) and Minella Till Dawn (5/4 SP). Dusky Lark returned each way profit when second at 9/1 behind the well handicapped, and mentioned in dispatches, Poker School.
The well backed Golden Spear could only finish fourth while, very sadly, Eduard suffered a serious injury in the Silver Cup at Ascot.
