As a punter, when your luck is out, it's out. But there are two things to remember at such times.
The first is that these things always turn around. Always. One minute you feel like a prize eejit. The next you think you can walk on water when it comes to betting on races. Neither is true.
Racehorses are not machines. They can be as temperamental and unpredictable as us human beings. Punting is not an exact science. Nor is it like that game I played as a child, Escalado. We can't fix the finish.
