I had a timely reminder of how, although we're all pleased to see sport returning, insignificant it is compared to the health of the nation. One long time member of VG Tips has lost his mother to Coronavirus. I passed on my condolences to him and felt a little guilty for writing to him with racing tips.
It was also a reminder that having a day of betting with no returns from four races, due to horses being placed but not winning, is unimportant in the wider scheme of things. Disappointed though we may all be as punters when . . .
