Last weekend was memorable for various reasons. Starting with the surprising winner of the Derby at Epsom. Serpentine took up the lead early on and just kept on going. Coming around Tattenham Corner and going downhill, he became the horse the others could not catch. It is not taking anything away from the horse or his likeable jockey to say that most of the other jockeys in the race were missing in action.
