Some days there are plenty of horse you would want to bet on. On other days there are far fewer of interest.
On Friday there is a decent card at Newmarket, but I swerve it simply because early indications are that the ones I would fancy to win will be very short in the betting market.
I'm always looking for potential value. There are always horses you can fancy to win a race, but if the price is an odd on one, what's the point? Any horse can be beaten and, as most punters know, constantly backing odds . . .
