Last weekend went rather well, don't you think?
I loved the Dublin Racing Festival. I had long intended to go but didn't get my act together soon enough and missed out. I envy those who were in attendance for the high quality two day meeting and who were there to see Faugheen turn back the years and win at the age of twelve.
Someone responded to me on Twitter by saying Faugheen didn't beat much. It didn't matter! Sometimes racing isn't simply about what beat what. It is about special moments that excite a crowd . . .
