Winter, a daughter of the great Galileo, proved she stays over 1 mile and 2 furlongs despite racing on atrocious ground and into a head wind. Are there any doubters left? I hope not. What more can Winter to prove that she is not only nice looking, she is now a consistent winner at Group 1 level. The English and Irish 1000 Guineas, the Coronation Stakes and now the Nassau Stakes. This flat season, Winter has come, seen and conquered.
