I hate it when I have looked at one, fancied one, discounted it and then sit back to watch it win...at odds of 50/1.
Had I known Breton Rock would be priced at even half that figure, I would have tipped the David Simcock runner as a hopeful of a place each way bet. Like the trainer, I did not imagine Breton Rock would go from last to first, coast down the outside of more established, seemingly higher quality opponents and win in very taking fashion. Breton Rock was one of the first I looked at for that . . .
