No punter should stick with one jockey to the point of obsession. But any punter should get to know not only who are the best jockeys, but which do best for them over a period of time.
I spotted the ability of Ryan Moore in his early days in the saddle. I saw that early confidence justified when he won for me at 66/1 during one night meeting at Sandown so many years ago that I cannot even recall the name of the horse.
