How do you like to make profit from a bookie? Are you only interested in winning via a shorter priced favourite? Or are you as happy, if not happier, to deprive the bookie of funds via a horse priced much bigger in the betting market and which gets placed in the frame?
I fall into the latter camp. Granted, this morning I decided to have a couple of quid, well a spare £4 actually, on the eventual winner of the Irish Grand National today, the very well backed on the day favourite, Burrows Saint. I couldn't see Ruby Walsh . . .
