To lose by a nose is possibly the most painful way of losing.
Of the 4.30 at Yarmouth today I wrote the following 24 hours ago: "The Mark Johnston trained Notarised is capable of landing a small field race such as this one. But I am siding with the Luca Cumani trained, Kinshasa."
What happened? Notarised beats Kinshasa by a nose and the winner was a good price at 6/1. Win some photo finishes, lose some photo finishes. Such is life. We move on.
At least Eye Contact won for us at odds of 5/4 . . .
