The quality of midweek racing continues to plumb new depths.
You only have to look at the size of the fields competing at three racecourses on Wednesday to know all is not well at this level of the sport.
4 and 5 horse races abound and, inevitably, the betting market offers the punter no value and only morsels to consider consuming.
If you only ever bet odds on you will end up in the poor house. I am not a fan of such prices and tend to avoid them.
Always ask yourself: Is the price on offer bigger than it . . .
