The British Horseracing Authority took soundings, allegedly from all interested parties, before today publishing their plans for racing fixtures in 2015.
What have they come up with? More of the same, that's what.
They say they will continue to consult with others on the plethora of small field races and see what can be done about this problem. But, when it comes to how many racing fixtures there will be next year, it will be pretty much the same as this year. In other words, too many.
Worse. Newcastle Racecourse has been granted its wish to turn the course . . .
