Goodwood ended on a positive note for me from a betting perspective.
Early bird punters were quids in by taking the 7/1 on Intrinsic to win the big race of the day and, across at Newmarket, Mizzou supported my confidence by beating a favourite. 3/1 was the early price on that one. The SP price was only 5/2. Returns were reduced a little by that being a dead heat winner.
There was further proof on Saturday that there is a benefit to being on each way if you're not sure a selection will win. Playing safe . . .
