What was I telling you? I loathe Bank Holiday racing and today reminded me why.
Form goes out of the window, the heavens open and the ground conditions alter - dramatically so on the Epsom Downs.
Add to that a false start in one race at Epsom, and I recall why I usually don't tip on a Bank Holiday.
All the horses raced only to discover, too late, that it was all in vein.
After a stewards' inquiry, that race was called null and void and punters bets were refunded.
Now accidents can happen, and false starts have always happened . . .
