It's that week. The last in July. That means time for Glorious Goodwood and Galway Races. The week in the summer when top top class festivals, one on the flat and the other over obstacles, compete for our attention on either side of the Irish Sea.
As most of you know, I am a great believer in betting on flat racing horses during the flat season proper, and jumps horses during the official National Hunt season.
