Security is not something you usually associate with horse racing.
But I was interested to read trainer Willie Mullins talking about the high level of security his stable employs in the run up to the Cheltenham festival.
He learned about the importance of this from his father.
Of course Mullins refused to discuss the measures put in place as that would defeat the object of security.
He said he is not concerned about horses being given steroids but about strangers getting into the stable and doping his horses.
The costs facing trainers and owners today are huge. Only the richest . . .
