There is no shortage of racing around on Thursday, but almost all of it is dross.
I wouldn't pay to enter a course to watch any of it. Those who run racing really do need to address the proliferation of meetings awash with small field races containing horses not worthy of carrying my money, or yours.
What we have to do as punters at these times is to be very selective and not be afraid to say "nothing here for me, move on."
