I was lucky to witness some quality racing in person the past two weekends.
Firstly Hennessy Gold Cup day at Newbury. I thought the facilities at that racecourse were excellent. The weather was foul, but the racing lifted the spirits and to see and hear a crowd in top voice always makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand to attention.
As was the case last Saturday when I attended Sandown Park for the Tingle Creek Chase. I enjoyed yelling on our 13/2 winner Carole's Destrier in the last race on the card. A great price . . .
