A good month of racing comes to a close this weekend with a decent card at Fairyhouse on Sunday and, before that, top quality action at Newbury today, Saturday.
We got the winner of the Hennessy Gold Cup 12 months ago and, after much analysis, I hope to make us some profit in that race again this year.
It is, as you would expect, ultra competitive and the horse that stays the best, and jumps economically, on that soft ground, will win. It's a long run in at Newbury so the race isn't over once the leading horse . . .
