It was good to see Cheltenham in all its winter splendour on Friday. Thank heavens I got the first race right. Charingworth at 7/1 was a good winner chosen because of the subsequent form of the horse that beat that one last time out.
The one I am annoyed at not being on was the Richard Johnson ridden Champagne West. That is because I did wonder yesterday why stable jockey Johnson was on that Philip Hobbs horse and not stablemate Colour Squadron (which, yet again, finished second).
Blaklion got beat, but not by the one I hoped. But it . . .
