Baltic Brave and Cay Dancer delivered the goods today, at 4/1 and 6/1 respectively when selected.
Cay Dancer was well backed during the day and came past the post first at just 11/4. Proof that others thought, like me, that it is better to be on one proven at that level, rather than risk a promising type.
And proof that, in Ryan Moore and his good friend Richard Hughes, we have two of the very best flat jockeys of all time. They rarely let punters down, whatever tosh you may read from time to time on Twitter . . .
