Saturday promises some good quality racing. Just so long as the weather doesn't go and spoil things. There is a course inspection up at Haydock Park. Now the Clerk of the Course there is the most optimistic of souls. He always tries to get racing on. When a meeting is called off there he must go home and kick several cats. The going will be heavy, if the meeting survives an 8am course inspection. So those horses blessed with stamina and a liking for soft conditions underfoot will do best.
