Goodwood is a glorious setting for racing and I have enjoyed watching the meeting so far.
With a couple of notable exceptions so far, I don't believe this has been a vintage Goodwood, but it has provided plenty of clues for future racing.
On Friday I was annoyed at myself for not sticking with our last time out winner, Wannabee Yours. I thought the step up in grade would be too much, but the John Gosden trained winner triumphed under a hands and heels ride by William Buick (who dropped his whip). Watch out for that one next time . . .
