It's pleasing when one you fancy to win does so easily. That was the case when AP McCoy rode Don Cossack to a comfortable victory in the feature race on day two of the Aintree meeting.
AP was unlucky not to win the first race of the day aboard my selection, The Saint James. He got boxed in two fences from home, and was then bumped by another horse at the final fence. In true fashion, McCoy gave it everything in a race to the line, but was just held off into second place.
He's going to miss . . .
