If I thought Fingal Bay was a good price when selected at 10/3; I was pleasantly amazed to see the returning Philip Hobbs trained horse drifted in the betting market out to an SP winning price of 9/2.
After all these years, even I can be baffled at the betting market and 9/2 was a great price for Fingal Bay. Yes, he has been away from racing over 400 days. But, as I pointed out 24 hours ago, he had won twice before after long absences from the track.
I did stress that I thought his stablemate . . .
