I can find nothing to tempt the careful punter at Catterick or Chepstow on what has to be one of the worst looking days of racing on a Friday for a long time.
Thursday’s and Friday’s were always days I looked forward to with anticipation of good quality racing and profitable punting.
I know we are in that low grade period before all the goodies come out of their stables to race at Cheltenham, but the racecards tomorrow are a bad joke.
I know when not to punt, as well as when to. After 3 winners from 4 selections on Wednesday, I shall wait to invest in the better quality racing scheduled for Saturday.
Those selections will be with members late on Friday afternoon.
