The midweek racing is plentiful, if not exactly spectacular.
But there's always a way to bash the bookie, we just have to find it.
I notice that more and more people - punters and bookies alike - are complaining about too much racing and too many races with too few horses racing in them.
The announcement by the British Horseracing Authority regarding the 2014 fixtures does nothing to address this increasing problem in the sport.
