A week on Tuesday and it will be day one of the Cheltenham festival.
And if you do not appreciate how exciting that is I suggest you check your pulse!
But before the four days there is another few days of racing up and down the meeting. Fewer turf meetings, for the reason I explained in earlier posts.
Trainers are saving their best horses for next week. The week before and the week after Cheltenham we often see the lower lights of the stables out competing, or some younger horses of which the trainers expect more next season.
