I thought last Saturday was, as I predicted, a poor day at the races in every sense.
While the meeting at Kempton Park offered some quality races, and a clue or two maybe going forward to the Cheltenham festival, the loss of the meeting at Newcastle was a blow to punters.
We had only two winners, including the post Newcastle postponement Best Bet of the day Irish Saint and also Glens Melody. Both odds against. But it was a poor day for those punting on a big scale.
But then, if you heeded my advice, you will not have done . . .
