Friday was a punting day of two halves. The day was disappointing. The evening brought us winners at Chester including Riskit Fora Viskit at 4/1 and Salford Red Devil at 7/4.
By day we had two second placed finishers of the three selections at Newmarket.
While I never expected the stewards to change the result of the Sky Lantern race, I do think the filly was hard done by. The jockey on the winning Elusive Kate hit Sky Lantern in the face twice with his whip. No wonder she was trying to get out of the way of . . .
