Friday at Goodwood was as open and competitive as I and many other punters predicted.
Johnny Murtagh was brilliant in the first race.
Richard Hughes won on our Montiridge in the second, and with plenty to spare. Hughes then showed once more how brilliant a jockey he is by winning the third race.
The big field race over 5 furlongs was a bumper car event. My two, Masamah and Tickled Pink looked well placed coming to the final couple of furlongs. But then the bumping began and those two, and a few others, lost their chance to win.
