We saw some good racing on Thursday, and we saw some horses that are likely to star this flat season.
Sir Henry Cecil was happy with yet another good looking winner, Tickled Pink.
And my Nap Toronado looked special when winning at Newmarket and will race again in a couple of weeks over a further distance. Watch out for Toronado.
We also won with Tara’s Rose which was 5-1 when selected but, due to a non runner, a rule 4 applied so your returns may have been reduced. Toronado was Evens 24 hours ago and those who got on early, like me, will have been happy with their returns as the winner came home at a much shorter price.
Another winner was Sandy Lane. This race finished in a dead heat so you will have found that your returns will have been less than if the horse had won on its own.
Right Touch made it two wins from two tips at Ripon and those who took the early price on that one profited again as the Richard Fahey trained winner came past the post at a much shorter SP price.
Thursday was a profitable day.
As ever, my favoured bets of the day are marked as (Nap) and from those my two best bets of the day are at the foot of this page. Some days the Naps win and the others don’t. Some days the Best bets lose and the other selections win. That, my friends, is racing>
The week has been building up nicely and we can look forward to some very good racing this weekend
