So the weather led to the meeting at Lingfield being called off after two races on Wednesday.
Fog so thick you could barely seen the end of your nose. Fog so well advertised and clear (so to speak) to see this morning that the notion of racing down there was a non starter. But, of course, they got the punters in - those mad enough to pay their money - only to abandon ship after a couple of farcical races.
How was that fair to horses, trainers, owners, spectators on course bookies etc? It wasn't.
When will racecourses stop this practice . . .
