Thursday's racing was moderate.
Saturday's is much, much better.
The one thing those who run racing seem to be excellent at is organising all the best racing for one day, while serving up much less attractive meetings the rest of the week.
On Saturday the top class meeting at Cheltenham will be largely overlooked, at least by terrestrial media. A year ago, when the BBC spent money on covering racing rather than making politically driven moves up the M6; the Cheltenham meeting was covered by Channel 4.
Now C4 is the only terrestrial broadcaster of racing, they will . . .
