Sheffield Wednesday to win at Nottingham Forest was one of 6 winning tips sent by me to members of VG TIPS. Widely available at 14/5 or 11/4 when I selected the Owls to win. They beat Forest 0-2 in front of their vast travelling army of Wednesdayites.
That result puts the Owls within touching distance of the Championship play-offs, and heaps further pressure on Forest boss Stuart Pearce.
Forest fans who watched the club in the days when Pearce captained the side have been reluctant to chant “Pearce Out.” But there were boos at the end of this latest defeat (highlights of that Nottingham Forest v Sheffield Wednesday game are below).
Members of VG TIPS were offered 8 football tips last Saturday. 6 of them returned profit. In addition to a Sheffield Wednesday win the others were:-
23/20 for Newport County to win at home against Portsmouth, Burnley to beat QPR (5/4), Wycombe Wanderers to beat York City (11/10), Birmingham City to win at home against Wigan (6/4) and West Brom to beat Hull City (11/10).
Some members simply place single bets on football. Others play on the horses. Some do both. I leave the decision up to them. It’s their money after all, so I simply advise bets that I think are available at value prices.
It was also a good day at the races on Saturday. All three selections made for the meeting at Kempton Park won. Tea for Two at 11/2, Kingscourt Native 13/8 and Balder Success at 11/10 (all prices available when members were advised on Friday evening).
So there you have it. Nine winning reasons to join the home of profitable punting for £10 a month or £100 for 12 months service.
Here are the highlights from that game
