We ended 2015 on a winning and profitable note.
My faith in the old boy Godsmejudge was rewarded. Down in grade, distance and the handicap, the 9 year old who won the 2013 Scottish Grand National for members returned to form and finished second on Tuesday. Tipped up as an each way bet when priced at 16/1, Godsmejudge returned profit,
As did the winners Squoateur at SP price of 11/4 and, also at Leopardstown, Nichols Canyon won. The early price of 1/2 was, in its own way, value.
As ever, something to suit all tastes and targets. Winners at shortish prices and placed each way selections at double figure prices. That remains the target in 2016.
Join VG TIPS for what will no doubt be my 18th consecutive year of profitable punting.
It kicks off on Friday January 1st when there is a meeting at Cheltenham. Racing selections for there and elsewhere will be available to members on Thursday evening.
After all, how else could you or I spend our time on New Year’s Eve?
