Meri Devie a 16/1 winning tip – the last of this jumps season

It’s been a memorable and profitable National Hunt season for members of VG Tips and I ended it with a tasty and enjoyable winner on the final day of the Punchestown Festival of 2018.

Meri Devie was tipped by me to members at odds of 16/1. Rachael Blackmore rode the 9 year old filly to a length and three quarter victory. It was my final winner of the jumps season and yet another at Punchestown for Champion Irish trainer and all round gentleman, Willie Mullins.

It’s been a fantastic jumps season on the punting front.

The Cheltenham Festival saw my followers receive 10 winners and nine profitable each way punts. Thereafter, even to my amazement, I managed to tip the winner of the Grand National at Aintree for the third successive year.

There were lots of winners and each way bets that returned placed profit between October 2017 and the end of April 2018 and I am already looking forward to the beginning of the next National Hunt season proper.

But from here on in, when the quality of the racing permits, it’s flat racing all the way from me now. Beginning with analysis and tips on Friday for Guineas weekend at Newmarket. The 2000 Guineas on Saturday. The 1000 Guineas on Sunday. Following that, from May 9-11 is the Chester race meeting at the unique racecourse called The Roodee.

So now is as good a time as any to join VG Tips for one month or one year.
