Man Utd 8-15 for title after derby day win
Manchester derby ends in victory for united

Robin Van Persie scores injury time winner

In a thrilling encounter, Manchester United scored late to win the derby at rivals Manchester City 2-3.

United led by two goals at half time but City fought back in the second half, once manager had replaced the waste of space that is Mario Balotelli.

Carlos Tevez was far livelier against his former club.

Many City fans wondered why on earth he didn’t start the game.

Goals from Toure and Zabaleta got City back into the game.

The match appeared to be heading for a draw until Robin Van Persie scored in the second minute of stoppage time. Statistics show United had three shots on goal in the game, and they scored with all three.

Their celebrations were marred when it appeared that Rio Ferdinand was struck by a coin thrown from the crowd. And Man City goalkeeper Joe Hart acted fast to prevent a fan from racing towards Ferdinand.

Wayne Rooney was impressive for United. Scoring two first half goals and working hard throughout the game.

Bookies have now made Man Utd 8-15 to win the Premier League title. While United are not the force of old, I think they will do just that come next May.
