It’s always nice when a plan pays off. When doing your research leads to profitable punting. So it proved on Monday.
Magical Memory my NAP (favoured bet of the day) won for us at odds of 13/2. A great price. Or, if you got on late, the SP price was 6/1.
When explaining my selection, here’s what I told members on Sunday evening:-
“Ryan Moore rides Magical Memory. Placed in Class 2 handicap last time out, this slight drop in class will be to the liking of all connected with the grey gelding. Last June Magical Memory got within two an a quarter lengths of Ivawood – which finished third in the Group 1 Irish 200 Guineas yesterday.”
Earlier in the day JUST US TWO had won for members at odds of 10/3, beating a well backed favourite by one length.
Here’s what I told members who pay just £10 a month for my service:-
“Robert Cowell is a specialist when it comes to training sprinters. This 5 furlong race should be to the liking of his three year old colt, Just Us Two. Not seen since winning a class 5 maiden last October, it is the subsequent form of his previous race that catches my eye. He was a length second to Waady at Sandown in September. Waady has gone on to win twice since, including a Class 2 handicap.”
And we got a nice early price on another winner, YARROW, which easily won for members who took the first price of 7/4 or 6/4. Yarrow won at a mere 4/9.
Here’s part of my write up on that one:-
“It’s Ryan Moore again. He rides Yarrow for Sir Michael Stoute. Second last time out, the winner went on to win a higher class of race on Saturday.”
5 races were analysed on Monday. 3 odds against winners, one runner up beaten three quarter of a length and one no show.
A profitable day of punting for members of VG TIPS. The next selections will be for racing on Thursday. Come join before then. £10 a month.
That’s all folks!
