It cannot be long until my favourite flat racing jockey of recent years is knighted. Surely soon it must be a case of “arise Sir John Gosden.”
The man who helped to resurrect the career of top jockey Frankie Dettori has been rewarded. Trainer and jockey have combined well to land some top class races these past few months.
It is no accident that his yard is currently blessed with some of the best racehorses of the past flat season. Names that trip off the tongue and horses that are worth the entrance fee alone.
But what are the immediate plans for the likes of Enable, Too Darn Hot and Roaring Lion?
Here John Gosden gives the Racing Post an update on targets for the remainder of this flat season, at home and abroad.
