What a superb day of profitable punting VG TIPS members enjoyed on Saturday May 21st.
Four winning tips, all at odds against prices. They included the winner of the Irish 2000 Guineas, Awtaad.
While many expected the favourite Galileo Gold to come out on top at the Curragh, I did not. True, Galileo Gold had won the English version of the race, but I was not impressed by the strength or quality of that race at Newmarket at the end of May.
I had also taken note of the comments made by Awtaad’s jockey, Chris Hayes. Days prior to the Irish race he had said that Awtaad was the best horse he had ridden. He’s sat on some good ones previously, so my ears pricked up at the claim by a normally modest jockey who is not known for boastful comments.
Awtaad was tipped by me to win the Irish 2000 Guineas at odds of 6/1.
I also tipped to members the first two home in the feature race, the Temple Stakes, at a rain soaked Haydock Park.
It was no secret that the rainfall would be good news for the hot favourite, the always determined Mecca’s Angel. But I told members I wanted to hedge my bets. For I suspected there was one in the race that might give her a run for her money.
So it was that I tipped the colt Profitable, each way, at odds of 10/1.
In a very tight finish, Profitable beat Mecca’s Angel in a race to the line, winning by the margin of a neck. So I predicted the first two home again – just as I had back in April when I selected the Grand National winner Rule the World for members, each way, at 50/1.
Odds of 8/1 were widely available when, on Friday night, members received from me their tips which included Garcia to land the Silver Bowl Stakes at Haydock.
Garcia was yet another value price winner for members of VG TIPS on super Saturday.
Possibly the classiest looking winner for us on Saturday was Caravagio. Ryan More rode that one to a comfortable victory in Ireland, a win so easy that the odds of 11/10 represented great value come the end of the Marble Hill Stakes.
I analysed 7 races, offering tips in each. 4 won. Odds when selected were 10/1, 8/1, 6/1 and 11/10.
If members had placed their bets on the first three each way, as I advised, then they won £150 (based on £5 each way), plus the £11 they won on Caravagio at odds of 11/10.
Those members who placed £10 to win only, on each of the four odds against winners, won a total of £251.
Anyone placing £10 on all of Saturday’s tips ended the day £121 in profit.
I do the homework so they don’t have to. What they do with my research and analysis is up to them. What they bet on, and with what stakes is, again, their choice.
On Saturday night I received this message from loyal long term follower Ian Robertson. He’s been with me for years and understands that to make an annual profit you have to stick around for longer than a week or a month.
Ian said: “Many thanks for today’s selections. I placed the e/way bets in a Lucky 15 which paid out at a handsome 20/1! My year’s subscription paid for. Very well done.”
So, why don’t YOU come and join VG TIPS now and, like them, become an annual profitable punter?
